About Linda
I've always believed that good design starts long before opening InDesign or Figma.
It starts by asking the right questions. Throughout my career, I've worked with agencies, corporate marketing teams, nonprofits, and Fortune 100 brands, creating print and digital marketing that helps organizations communicate clearly and achieve their goals.
I'm at my best when untangling complex challenges, finding practical solutions, and turning ideas into thoughtful, effective creative. Whether I'm building a campaign, designing a presentation, or preparing production-ready artwork, I enjoy making the process as smooth as the final product. Colleagues know me as someone who quickly earns trust through dependable execution and keeps projects moving forward—even when deadlines are tight or project requirements inevitably evolve.
At the end of the day, great design isn't just measured by how it looks—it's measured by how well it works. That's the standard I bring to every project.

Banking & Finance
Integrated print and digital marketing communications for American Express and Union Bank.
My financial services experience includes developing integrated marketing communications for American Express and Union Bank, creating customer-facing campaigns across print and digital channels. Working in a highly regulated, brand-conscious industry required balancing creative execution with meticulous attention to detail, production accuracy, and demanding deadlines.
Whether developing email campaigns, print communications, or business collateral, I collaborated with creative teams to deliver polished, production-ready materials that strengthened brand consistency and supported business objectives.
Healthcare
Healthcare Communications
Member education, enrollment materials, and regulated marketing communications for WellPoint Health Networks and Health Net.
My healthcare experience spans two major California health insurance organizations—WellPoint Health Networks (Blue Cross/UniCare) and Health Net—where I developed member-facing communications that balanced clear visual design with complex regulatory requirements. Working in an industry where every word and every detail mattered, I produced brochures, enrollment materials, and marketing communications that helped members better understand their healthcare benefits while maintaining strict production accuracy and brand standards. The work required careful attention to detail, accessibility, and the ability to translate complicated information into clear, approachable communications.
At WellPoint, I began on the Rapid Response Team as a writer before being promoted to Graphic Designer, giving me the unique ability to contribute both copy and design to critical projects. One executive brochure I researched, wrote, and designed for senior leadership received recognition from a Senior Vice President and earned a performance bonus. At Health Net, I built production templates that improved consistency across high-volume member communications and supported the rollout of a new member communications initiative. Across both organizations, I became known for delivering accurate work under aggressive deadlines while helping ensure that every piece met production, regulatory, and quality standards.

Real Estate Direct Marketing
Developed marketing materials for a Southern California commercial real estate business, including property sales brochures and direct-mail campaigns promoting industrial properties to business owners and tenants. Projects combined property photography, location information, pricing and financing details, competitive comparisons, maps, and detailed property features into clear, visually engaging sales communications.
Work included developing property-specific visual identities and layouts, organizing complex real estate information, creating comparison graphics and location maps, and preparing final materials for print production.
Non-Profit
The Los Angeles Zoo, Red Ape Rainforest
One of the projects I'm most proud of was developing the fundraising campaign for the Los Angeles Zoo's Red Ape Rainforest exhibit. As Art Director, I created the campaign concept and designed the direct mail materials while managing production from concept through press. Like many nonprofit projects, the budget was limited, so the challenge was creating something emotionally engaging and visually memorable without relying on expensive printing techniques.
The campaign delivered approximately a 6% response rate, significantly outperforming what is typically expected from a direct mail fundraising campaign. More importantly, it helped generate support for a major new exhibit at the Zoo. I enjoy projects where thoughtful design contributes to a real-world outcome, and this campaign is still one of my favorite examples of how strategic creative work can make a measurable difference.
